Andrew Weaver is one of the world's foremost climate scientists. He was a lead author in the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change -- the group that, with Al Gore, won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He is the author of Keeping Our Cool.

Weaver is the Canada Research Chair in climate modeling and analysis at the University of Victoria, and has authored or coauthored nearly two hundred peer-reviewed studies in climate, earth science, policy, and education journals.
