“Evidence for Democracy” (E4D) Campaign launched – March 15, 2013
This spring the organizers of the “Death of Evidence” demonstration and the “Science Uncensored” campaign have launched a new “Evidence for Democracy” (E4D) Campaign.
E4D draws attention to the “unprecedented shift in the way our government handles public science” and to a variety of challenges faced by public scientists. Issues include those of censorship and government policies that have the potential to suppress public science by making it harder for government scientists to publish their work and collaborate with scientists outside of government.
