CAUT “Get Science Right” Campaign – April 23, 2013
In response to increasing concerns about the integrity and independence of scientific research, the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) has launched a campaign to “Get Science Right”.
CAUT’s campaign calls for an overhaul of the federal government’s science policy and funding for science in Canada which is very much in keeping with the Institute’s own extensive advocacy for public science.
CAUT suggests that “Canadians need a new science policy that puts the public interest first and builds upon the proven strengths of government and university and college research."
