CALL FOR NOMINATIONS for the PIPSC WGH GROUP EXECUTIVE

Four positions are available:

Chairperson - term of two (2) years

Duties of the Chairperson include:

- To represent the Membership in all activities as Chairperson
- To call and preside all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive
- To participate in all Joint Consultation Meetings
- To attend all Union-Management Consultation Meetings
- To be a member of the Negotiating Team
- To attend Advisory Committee Meetings
- To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities
- To liaise with the media as necessary

Vice-Chairperson - term of one (1) year

Duties of the Vice-Chairperson include:

- To assist the Chair in the performance of duties and, in the absence of the Chair, perform the duties of that position
- To represent the Membership in all activities as Vice-Chairperson
- To participate in Joint Consultation Meetings
- To attend Union-Management Consultation Meetings
- To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities

Treasurer - term of two (2) years

Duties of the Treasurer include:

- To maintain the financial records of the Group as required by the Institute policy
- To prepare a financial report for each General Meeting of the Group
- To submit a detailed financial statement to the Institute as required
- To prepare the request for the annual allowance of the Group
- To represent the Membership in all activities as Treasurer
- To attend Union-Management Consultation Meetings
- To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities

Secretary - term of one (1) year

Duties of the Secretary include:

- To send notices of all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive
- To record minutes of meetings, including attendance
- To maintain records and correspondence of the Group and of the Group Executive
- To represent the Membership in all activities as Secretary
- To attend Union-Management Consultation Meetings
- To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities
