CALL FOR NOMINATIONS for the PIPSC WGH GROUP EXECUTIVE

Two positions are available:

Vice-President – term until the end of December 2010

Duties of the Vice-President include:

• To assist the President in the performance of duties and, in the absence of the President, perform the duties of that position
• To represent the Membership in all activities as Vice-President
• To participate in Joint Consultation Meetings
• To attend Union-Management Consultation Meetings
• To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities

Secretary – term until the end of December 2010

Duties of the Secretary include:

• To send notices of all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive
• To record minutes of meetings, including attendance
• To maintain records and correspondence of the Group and of the Group Executive
• To represent the Membership in all activities as Secretary
• To attend Union-Management Consultation Meetings
• To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities

SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT

For a term of 1 year (until the end of December 2009)

Duties of the President include:

• To represent the Membership in all activities as President
• To call and preside all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive
• To participate in all Joint Consultation Meetings
• To attend all Union-Management Consultation Meetings
• To be a member of the Negotiating Team
• To attend Advisory Committee Meetings
• To be or agree to become a PIPSC Steward with accompanying responsibilities
• To liaise with the media as necessary
