AFS GROUP NEGOTIATIONS BEGIN

On August 28, 2007 the Professional Institute served notice to bargain on behalf of the members of the AFS Group to the Canada Revenue Agency for the renewal of the collective agreement which will expire on December 21, 2007. Proposals for the renewal of the collective agreement will be exchanged with the CRA on September 14, 2007. Bargaining sessions have been planned for October 2-3, 2007 and November 27-28, 2007. Members will be provided regular updates regarding progress at the bargaining table. Your bargaining team appreciates the support members have expressed for a successful round of bargaining.
