Robert Tellier

Dear CS Group Members,

I am asking for your support to help me get re-elected as a Member-at-Large on the CS Group Executive. Here is a brief summary of my union experience.

  • Actively involved PIPSC Steward since 2003
  • Member of the Institute’s National Finance Committee from 2007 to 2012
  • Member of the Institute’s National Policy and By-laws Committee as of 2013
  • Vice-president of the Department of National Defence National Union-Management Consultation Team from 2009 to 2012
  • Member of the Montréal Metro CS Sub-Group Executive from 2003 to 2015
  • Member of the Montreal-East CS Sub-Group Executive as of 2015
  • Treasurer of the Quebec Region Executive as of 2007
  • Member of the CS Group Bargaining Team from 2010 to 2013
  • Member of the National CS Group Executive since 2010
  • CS Group Bargaining Officer as of October 2013

Since my first term, I used the experience gained to benefit CS Group members. Since 2013, my main area of responsibility is the negotiation. I firmly believe that success is achieved through teamwork. The Institute and the CS Group must work together and act as ONE.

If you believe in teamwork, and that the strength of the Institute lies first and foremost in the dedication of its frontline representatives, then vote for me. If you believe that no one can lead without the backing of a strong executive dedicated to the labour cause, then re-elect me. I will be the one who will continue, day after day, to make your innovative ideas a priority in decisions by the Group and to defend your union views. Together the CS Group will assert itself in the labour arena through its leadership and vitality. Future challenges will be OUR challenges. Together WE will walk in solidarity alongside our colleagues in the labour movement and that we will preserve what our brothers, our fathers, our grandfathers and all these proud combatants built for all of us for decades.

Thank you for your trust.
