NR SUB-GROUP PRESIDENTS AND NR GROUP NATIONAL EXECUTIVE July 8 and 9th, 2016 MEETINGS

The NR Group National Executive cordially invites you to the 10th annual NR Sub-Group Presidents and Team building exercise “Better Together” meetings to be held July 8th and 9th, 2016, at the Delta Hotel in Regina.

Background

In January 2016, the NR Executive agreed that the Sub-Group Presidents annual meeting would coincide with a team building exercise of the NR group executive to be scheduled for an area outside the NCR, to aid and facilitate the formation of a new Sub-group in Regina.

THE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

July 7(PM): The Sub-Group president’s representative travels to Regina

July 8: 8:00 to 9:00 - Breakfast at the Delta Regina
9:00 to 16:00 - Sub-Group Presidents Meeting and local Regina members
18:00 to 21:00 - Evening dinner and social
July 9: 8:00 to 9:00 - Breakfast at the Delta Regina
9:00 to 16:00 - Team Building Exercise “Better Together”

The Sub-Group President’s meeting will consist of NR-Bargaining update, recent NR By-law changes and Presentations from Sub-group representatives on local issues.

PIPSC Vice President, Shannon Bittman, will talk on current bargaining issues.

The purpose of this year’s Team Building Exercise “Better Together” is to develop a communication to bring reporting activities between the national executive and all sub-groups closer together.

Registration:

The Sub-Group President representative, if a member of the national NR executive, can select an alternate from the sub-group executive to attend the meetings.

You must submit your confirmation of attendance (or the name of an alternate) by filling out the Online Registration prior to June 3, 2016 (noon). Once registered, you will receive confirmation from Natalie Bélanger (PIPSC Staff Resource), along with your Travel Authorization Number (TAN). You will then be able to contact BCD Travel (1 866-768-7624) to book your travel.

**Please note that a hotel room block at the Delta has been made for this event.**
