Setting of Meeting Proceedings
For each of Five Questions panellists shall have three minutes each to present their position
Each panellist may speak for three minutes on any topics pertinent to the engineering community
Each panellist shall then be accorded one minute each for closing remarks
Thanking of the Panellists and Audience

Meeting Proceedings:

Each representative party candidate will have up to three minutes to address the question posed by the Moderator. The order of speaking will be randomly selected for the first question and for each subsequent question the order sequence will shift forward by one allowing each panellist to speak first at least once. After each of the four panellists has spoken to all of the questions each panellist will be asked to speak for an additional three minutes on any matters deemed relevant to the engineering community. Once each of the panellist has participated in their free statements a final one minute will be accorded each panellist for their closing remarks.


  1. What is your plan for investing in engineering, sciences, and R&D?
  2. What is your position on nuclear power, carbon fuel power generation, renewable energy sources and some framework for the provinces to work together on a national strategy for energy?
  3. What is your position on infrastructure renewal in Ontario and the role of the Federal government to support infrastructure needs?
  4. How will your government promote that engineers are involved in major government programs and spending initiatives where appropriate?
  5. How do you plan on investing and developing Canada's skilled work force?
