Call for assistance concerning security screening

Call for assistance – The Institute is currently proceeding with a court challenge to the reasonableness of Treasury Board’s 2014 Standard on Security Screening, including the requirement in the Standard for credit checks, fingerprinting, and Internet searches. The Institute is looking for members who are willing to support our court challenge by providing written affidavit evidence relating to the position they hold, along with the security classification associated with the position. If you are interested in assisting, please email Martin Ranger at PIPSC Legal. In your email, please provide a brief description of the duties of your position, as well as your security classification under the 2014 Standard on Security Screening (reliability status, secret clearance, or top secret clearance).
