This year, the MAD dash recognizes the opening of the Canadian Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg. The mandate of this new museum is to enhance the public's understanding of human rights, to promote respect for others, and to encourage reflection and dialogue.

The Mad Dash will terminate at the Canadian Tribute to Human Rights located at the Corner of Lisgar and Elgin streets adjacent to Ottawa City Hall.
