Juli – Book balloon guy for two hours

Beverley – Purchase “super balls”, dollar-store tattoos, and gifts for the “pass the parcel” game

Do once we find out what numbers we’re expecting, and what ages they are.

Notes

Welcome Willem!

Current events list for the BBQ (weather permitting):

BBQ itself

Piñata (full of candy)

Spoon race (using super balls, which the kids can keep)

Three-legged race

Scavenger hunt

“Pass the parcel” type door prizes for children

A package with many, many layers of wrapping paper gets passed from kid to kid (maybe with each taking off a single layer?)

Inside each layer of wrapping paper is a tag that says “gift” or “no gift”: kids get to pick something from a selection of gifts if they get a gift tag

A big prize will be inside the package itself

Door prizes for adults: draw name tags once they’re returned

Thyme and Again may be a good caterer to use for the winter social: they have a good relationship with Groovy Grapes and are very close to the Hall.
