CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: 2010 STEWARD OF THE YEAR RECOGNITION AWARD
The Prairie/NWT Region recognizes that we have many wonderful Stewards in our region. However, due to the size of our Region and the number of offices served by our stewards, it is very hard for the Regional Executive and the Awards Committee to be aware of all of the work our Stewards perform. You know of the work that Stewards do in your office on your behalf. Not only are they professional and diligent in their efforts, they are also required to abide by confidentiality rules. Most of these good people work in the background to resolve issues before they become big problems.
We need your help to recognize these individuals who devote a lot of time and energy into making our workplace better. We would like to recognize these excellent Stewards at a Regional and National level.
To thank you for taking the time to fill out the nomination form, we will draw from amongst the nominators and award a PIPSC merchandise package.
Eligibility:
All stewards located within the Prairie/NWT Region. A steward must have been actively performing the duties of steward during the current year, or longer, and must be willing to accept the award.
Nominations:
Nominations must come from Regular members. Nominator’s name and contact information (phone number and email) must be included with the nomination form.
Criteria:
A completed nomination must include the stewards full name, contact information and no more than a 500 word description of the steward’s qualities and successes.
Submission Deadline:
Nominations must be sent to the Edmonton Regional Office, attention Prashila Chand, by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010.
