The 68th Prairie/NWT Regional Council (PRC) will be held on May 27 and 28, 2011, at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg.

Delegates

In accordance with the Prairie/NWT Region Constitution, each Branch is entitled to appoint one delegate per 100 members, rounded upwards to the nearest 100. (Under Section 3.1 of the Region’s Constitution, “All Regular and Retired members of the Institute resident in the Prairie/Northwest Territories Region shall be members of the Prairie/Northwest Territories Region.”)

NOTE TO BRANCH PRESIDENTS

as soon as possible of the names of
your Branch delegates and observers.

Please contact Carol McQuarrie at the PIPSC Winnipeg Office to register your attendance at this meeting. Deadline for Registration is Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Please supply your phone number and email address when registering.

Hotel Accommodation

Once we receive your Registration, Carol will take care of booking a guest room for you at the hotel. The Institute will pay for your room; however, you will be responsible for any incidental charges such as telephone, parking, room service, etc.

Travel Arrangements

Delegates are requested to book their flights directly with BCD Travel (1-866-768-7624) as soon as possible. The Institute will pre-pay your tickets. Air travel must be booked no later than May 6, 2011 in order to take advantage of the best excursion airfares.

If you intend to drive to the Council meeting, please advise Carol at the PIPSC Winnipeg Office.

Meals

Please advise Carol if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, in order that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Reports / Resolutions

All reports and resolutions for debate at the Council should be forwarded to the PIPSC Winnipeg Office no later than April 29, 2011 for posting on the “Virtual Binder” on the PIPSC website.
