The courses that will be offered at the School this year are:

1 ½ days: Consultation

1 ½ days: Harassment

The courses will be given by Pierrette Gosselin, Frédéric Durso, Valérie Charette and Erik Mackay of the Montréal Regional Office according to the following schedule:

The session will start on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at noon and lunch will be served there. In keeping with the Institute’s travel expense reimbursement guidelines, if you have to leave home before 7:00 am on Wednesday the 17th to reach Manoir St-Sauveur at noon, you are entitled to a hotel room for the night before the training, i.e. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. Please check the Tuesday overnight stay box on your registration form so we can reserve a room for you. If you can be on time for the training session when leaving home after 7:00 am, you are not entitled to an overnight stay on Tuesday.

The session will end at about 2:00 pm on Saturday. Still in accordance with the Institute’s guidelines and Travel Policy, if you cannot get home before 8:00 pm, travelling a maximum of 350 km, you are entitled to a room for Saturday night. Please check the Saturday overnight stay box on your registration form so we can reserve a room for you at Manoir St-Sauveur. If you can get home before 8:00 pm, travelling a maximum of 350 km, you are not entitled to a hotel room for Saturday night.

These provisions apply whether members are travelling by car or by plane, and imply that they are travelling by the most direct route without stopping for a meal.

It is important to note that we cannot accept more than 18 participants in each block of courses. As well as first-registered-first-served, priority will be given to members registering for two courses.

You will be reimbursed for your Wednesday, Thursday and Friday salary, except in the case of stewards living within a short distance of the training location (St-Sauveur-des-Monts) who will not be able to claim reimbursement for all of Wednesday. Your travel expenses will also be reimbursed according to the Institute’s Travel Policy. All meals are included in the package and we make the reservations for you. If you need to have any special arrangements made, please contact Sandra Guéric at the Regional Office.

  • Documents: The documentation and the forms for reimbursement of travel and salary claims will be given to you after you arrive.
